Sedo delivers record revenue for November
Who said domain parking is dead?
As I posted earlier this month, Sedo moved to a new, ajax-based ad delivery system.
Apparently, this has now met the approval of Google, the main advertising feed for Sedo; the end result is higher payouts.
Much higher PPC is now achieved at Sedo, bringing my November totals to 2007 levels, before the so-called collapse of the economy.
Fantastic.
After moving the remainder of my portfolio from Yahoo-driven Parked.com I witnessed a sizable increase in parking revenue as well.
Sedo cleaned out the bot/spam traffic junk and while less visits might be recorded, both PPC and total revenue more than make up for the loss in visitor numbers.
And that’s exactly what counts: the money that goes into our pockets from the performance of no-cost parking.

I made this observation about Parking in my own experience four months ago. I am exceeding 2007 peak levels and with Parked.com.
Wondering what your CPM and CTR is?

Same here, traffic down, some names I hand regged and thought wow decent traffic volume but now they are not as high, but the clicks on less traffic are higher. Why is Parked.com not performing Theo ? Is it Bing skewing things, I had read some thinking that PPC would go up on Parked.com because of the move to Bing.

Can you post screen shots of July or before, and now? I seriously think you’d just witnessed a fluke. I don’t think Parkers are ready to play fair, consistently.

Owen – Parked is practically dead as of now in terms of PPC and hence revenue. I moved all of my remaining domains out and back to Sedo.
RH – Parked is not performing thanks to Yahoo. Yahoo is censoring, banning and otherwise screwing up domainers.
Uzoma – I am not witnessing a fluke, in fact, I am recording the highest PPC of the past 3+ years at Sedo in monthly averages.

If you look at DailyChanges.com you’ll see all the turmoil going on with the parking companies.
It does appear Parked is losing and Sedo is gaining as I have been checking it about five times a week.
Overall though, most of the parking companies according to this tool are losing traffic. It’s being moved by domainers, but to where I don’t know.
