{"id":1048,"date":"2010-08-17T20:34:27","date_gmt":"2010-08-18T00:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=1048"},"modified":"2020-07-31T12:34:46","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T16:34:46","slug":"stolen-domains-returned-to-rightful-owner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/stolen-domains-returned-to-rightful-owner\/","title":{"rendered":"Stolen domains returned to rightful owner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those of you that had the patience to read through my <a href=\"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/namejet-as-a-trojan-horse-the-sacking-of-four-valuable-domains-while-paying-for-only-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>exceptionally long post<\/strong><\/a> about the stolen domain names <strong>jis.com, leading.net, southeast.net and jaxnet.com<\/strong> &#8211; should be delighted with the news.<\/p>\n<p>The domains <strong>have been returned<\/strong> to their rightful owner, Karl Renaut and are now in his possession and control, as Karl confirmed this to me earlier today.<\/p>\n<p>After directly contacting the winner of FloridaDigital.net to inform him that his wrongful actions would have serious consequences, that gentleman did the right thing and contacted Karl Renaut at Windstream and handed over the domains.<\/p>\n<p>In the process, the advice of expert IP attorney <a href=\"http:\/\/randazza.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Marc Randazza<\/strong><\/a> was utilized and I&#8217;m glad this is a case where<strong> justice and logic prevailed.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those of you that had the patience to read through my exceptionally long post about the stolen domain names jis.com, leading.net, southeast.net and jaxnet.com &#8211; should be delighted with the news.
