{"id":1697,"date":"2011-06-14T01:57:02","date_gmt":"2011-06-14T05:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=1697"},"modified":"2011-06-14T02:23:07","modified_gmt":"2011-06-14T06:23:07","slug":"calling-fabulous","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/calling-fabulous\/","title":{"rendered":"Calling Fabulous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The few times that I needed tech support from <a href=\"http:\/\/Fabulous.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Fabulous<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; <em>the popular domain registrar from Down Under<\/em> &#8211; I had no trouble hearing back in a timely fashion.<\/p>\n<p>All this, while due to location Fabulous is 14 hours ahead of the US East Coast, a full 17 hours ahead of California and the West Coast. And miles ahead in customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>As it happened, yesterday was one of those extra rare times that I attempted to reach Fabulous by phone, and my 3 attempts were unsuccessful, resulting in a dead line every time.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that right on that day, Fabulous is transitioning its phone network and is using an alternate phone number in the interim.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Once the migration is complete, our contact numbers will remain  unchanged, however during the transition, if you need to contact us by  phone please call:  +61 7 3233 6100<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Unfortunately <a href=\"http:\/\/fabulous.com\/informationcenter\/index.htm?formdata[qid]=410\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>the Contact page<\/strong><\/a> does not include this new, temporary number which is the reason why I could not get through.
