{"id":2316,"date":"2012-04-27T17:29:22","date_gmt":"2012-04-27T21:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=2316"},"modified":"2012-04-27T17:42:16","modified_gmt":"2012-04-27T21:42:16","slug":"sedo-vienna-calling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/sedo-vienna-calling\/","title":{"rendered":"Sedo: Vienna calling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love that 80&#8217;s song by <em>Falco<\/em> and there was plenty of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vFTxqMg-OKQ\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Vienna calling<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; for the past 30 days at <strong>Sedo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An Austrian buyer took forever to submit payment for one of my domains; first claiming he sent payment, then stating he went on Easter vacation and eventually assuring everyone &#8220;<em>the check&#8217;s in the mail.<\/em>&#8221; How do you say &#8220;<em>bullshit<\/em>&#8221; in German?<\/p>\n<p>I was almost ready to place him in the same category along with <a href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domains\/one-out-of-three-swiss-domainers-is-a-stellar-guy\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>66% of my Swiss buyers.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sedo Germany<\/strong> kept hammering though, contacting the buyer by phone every other day and eventually handing over the matter to the <em>uber-aggressive<\/em> Accounts Receivable department.<\/p>\n<p>The matter closed today and I&#8217;ve pinned <strong>one more flag<\/strong> on the international map of domain buyers.<\/p>\n<p>TGIF Sedo, danke sch\u00f6n!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love that 80&#8217;s song by Falco and there was plenty of &#8220;Vienna calling&#8221; for the past 30 days at Sedo.
