{"id":2371,"date":"2012-05-15T18:24:52","date_gmt":"2012-05-15T22:24:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=2371"},"modified":"2012-05-15T18:24:52","modified_gmt":"2012-05-15T22:24:52","slug":"a-simple-reason-i-like-bari-now-at-enom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/a-simple-reason-i-like-bari-now-at-enom\/","title":{"rendered":"A simple reason I like Bari &#8211; now at eNom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Moniker account manager, <strong>Bari Meyerson<\/strong>, has moved to eNom as a senior bizdev manager, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elliotsblog.com\/bari-meyerson-hired-by-enom-7563\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Elliot&#8217;s Blog.<\/strong> <\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a great promotion for the very likable Bari, and there is a very specific reason why I like her.<\/p>\n<p>Although I was never a Moniker fan &#8211; <em>still keeping less than 10 domains there for no particular reason<\/em> &#8211; Bari stood out for me in TRAFFIC 2008 in Orlando, when she was part of the Moniker crowd overseeing (<em>cough, cough<\/em>) the live domain auction.<\/p>\n<p>My domain, <strong>360.org<\/strong> was being auctioned &#8211; <em>back then with a very reasonable reserve of $6,000<\/em> &#8211; and during the minute or so that attention was drawn to the lot, Bari &#8220;drew&#8221; in the air a full circle, with her fingers. That shows she understood the significance of the number very well.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, the domain wasn&#8217;t sold at the auction but <a href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domains\/perfect-number-perfect-sale-360org-sells-for-five-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>a year and a half later set the record<\/strong><\/a> for the highest priced NNN .org in history.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Bari, for knowing the rules of the game so well and best of success at your new job with eNom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Moniker account manager, Bari Meyerson, has moved to eNom as a senior bizdev manager, according to Elliot&#8217;s Blog.
