As I mentioned in my analysis, <a href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domains\/european-domainers-have-an-advantage\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Europeans have an advantage<\/strong><\/a> due to being sandwiched between the financial and social hubs of both the US and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>While Mike Berkens <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedomains.com\/2012\/07\/08\/sorry-acro-i-have-to-disagree-european-domainers-especially-bloggers-are-at-a-huge-disadvantage\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>did not agree<\/strong><\/a> with me, his commentators from Europe seemed to share my opinion; after all, <strong>living<\/strong> in the Old Continent versus <strong>vacationing<\/strong> there, are two different things.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s post by Mike further proves my point; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedomains.com\/2012\/07\/09\/its-domaining-6-0-its-is-all-about-branding\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mike&#8217;s analysis of Domaining<\/strong><\/a> and its current classification as &#8220;<em>Domaining 6.0<\/em>&#8221; shows that great research can be done and original, insightful articles can be written when one does not feel peer pressure from the rustle-bustle American lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Departing from the usual type of articles about WIPO litigation and Marchex stock fluctuation, Mike truly put together an article that exists both as a &#8220;captain&#8217;s log&#8221; and as a guide for future domainer expeditions.<\/p>\n<p>Mike wrote the article around 8am on Monday, local time in Europe, while us in the US played Words with Friends, bored to tears from a lazy Sunday, or were asleep already.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A job well done, Mike.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It takes a while to get used to living in Europe, 5 to 7 hours ahead of the East Coast.
