{"id":3060,"date":"2013-01-14T00:43:14","date_gmt":"2013-01-14T05:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=3060"},"modified":"2013-01-14T20:27:03","modified_gmt":"2013-01-15T01:27:03","slug":"reg-fee-domainer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/reg-fee-domainer\/","title":{"rendered":"Reg fee domainer?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I must say that taking Sunday off worked for the most part; I focused on relaxing and lounging in order to energize for the busy week ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Then I went back to reading the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/Domaining.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Sunday paper<\/strong><\/a>&#8216; &#8211;<em> I mean, domainer blogs<\/em> &#8211; and the one about <a href=\"http:\/\/torontodomainer.com\/is-domainnamesales-com-minimum-100-dollar-payout-for-ppc-earnings-too-high-for-reg-fee-domainers-the-answer-is-yes\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Internet Traffic not paying less than $100<\/strong><\/a> per pay period caught my eye.<\/p>\n<p>The term &#8220;<em>reg fee domainer<\/em>&#8221; is news to me. I peruse domain blogs and forums daily, and I have never heard of the term before, so it seems that it was coined for a reason: to talk about <strong>domainer hobbyists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the heyday of my Sedo PPC parking, making <strong>$3,000 per month<\/strong> was a spectacular pay. While things have changed and the PPC market has collapsed since 2008, if you don&#8217;t make the bare minimum of $100 \/month from parking, what exactly is the reason you&#8217;re spending renewal fees on domains?<\/p>\n<p>Not only is <a href=\"http:\/\/internettraffic.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Internet Traffic<\/strong><\/a> being reasonable with the $100 \/month minimum to send out payments &#8211; <em>via PayPal or wire<\/em> &#8211; but <strong>they should actually increase it to $250 or so.<\/strong> This way, the &#8220;reg fee domainers&#8221; &#8211; <em>or domainer riff-raff<\/em> &#8211; can go back to parking obviously junk domains at second and third tier parking companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I must say that taking Sunday off worked for the most part; I focused on relaxing and lounging in order to energize for the busy week ahead.
