{"id":3209,"date":"2013-03-16T18:18:59","date_gmt":"2013-03-16T22:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=3209"},"modified":"2013-03-16T18:40:15","modified_gmt":"2013-03-16T22:40:15","slug":"eurofascism-or-how-the-stock-markets-are-set-for-a-steep-dive-on-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/eurofascism-or-how-the-stock-markets-are-set-for-a-steep-dive-on-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"Eurofascism &#8211; Or, how the stock markets are set for a steep dive on Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recent rally of the financial markets, including the NYSE, might have brought blissful smiles to day traders; but those that trade with skepticism know that <em>what goes up, must come down.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Right this minute, the nation of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2013\/03\/16\/us-eurozone-cyprus-idUSBRE92E02220130316\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Cyprus is being pillaged financially<\/strong><\/a>, with the Germany-guided &#8220;<em>troika<\/em>&#8221; demanding the locking of <strong>6 billion euro<\/strong> in bank deposits, in order to sustain its financial aid to the banking system.<\/p>\n<p>Cypriots went to bed last night while their newly elected government negotiated a bailout, with everyone&#8217;s bank account holdings being taxed up to 10%, effective immediately. The decision took advantage of an extended holiday weekend that keeps banks closed on Monday, and Cypriot citizens rushed in panic to ATMs in order to withdraw money; many unsuccessfully so.<\/p>\n<p>For many, that&#8217;s the savings of a lifetime, and for the numerous foreign investors in Cyprus, such as British and Russian, that&#8217;s an immediate reason to take out billions of euro in bank deposits. The very act that was designed to save the banks from defaulting, will now save the face of <a href=\"http:\/\/pawelmorski.wordpress.com\/2013\/03\/16\/cyprus-a-brutal-lesson-in-realpolitik-2\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>European officials, bank managers and other globalists.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Come Monday, the international economy will go through yet another display of how the <em>butterfly effect<\/em> is able to generate waves from the slightest ripple.
