I have not registered any domains in that gTLD and won&#8217;t be doing so.<\/p>\n<p>The reason is simple: unless your business name ends in &#8220;domains&#8221;, or you are in the direct domain brokerage business, this particular gTLD is more of an &#8220;inner circle&#8221; badge.<\/p>\n<p>Surely, <a href=\"http:\/\/thedomains.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mike Berkens<\/strong><\/a> secured MostWanted.domains because it matches his company brand; other notable registrations include dotcom.domains, gtld.domains and brand.domains &#8211; all great for what they can deliver as developed web sites.<\/p>\n<p>As far as gTLDs are concerned, my personal focus is in wider markets, outside of the core domaining business. On the other hand, if you operate a registrar reseller business or delve in domains on a regular basis, this could be an opportunity to build a new brand, something that I&#8217;m not interested in at this point.<\/p>\n<p>The expanding universe of available gTLDs requires everyone to <a title=\"Domain investing strategies: Don\u2019t go all \u2018Pacman\u2019 with the new TLDs\" href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domains\/domain-investing-strategies-dont-go-all-pacman-with-the-new-tlds\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>define a strategy<\/strong><\/a> and <a title=\"Diversification: A key element of intelligent domain investing\" href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domains\/diversification-a-key-element-of-intelligent-domain-investing\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>diversify their investments<\/strong><\/a>.
