{"id":4468,"date":"2015-03-06T11:43:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-06T16:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=4468"},"modified":"2015-03-06T11:43:00","modified_gmt":"2015-03-06T16:43:00","slug":"domain-name-sales-thank-you-brooke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/domain-name-sales-thank-you-brooke\/","title":{"rendered":"Domain Name Sales : Thank you, Brooke"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When a domain sale is achieved, everyone is happy: the seller, the buyer and in the case of an existing broker, them as well.<\/p>\n<p>But what about when an inquiry doesn&#8217;t lead to a sale, despite all the broker&#8217;s efforts?<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, the DNS brokers go well beyond the &#8220;call of duty&#8221; to achieve a sale, and for that <a title=\"Domain Name Sales brokers among the best professionals in the industry\" href=\"http:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/business\/domain-name-sales-brokers-among-the-best-professionals-in-the-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>I&#8217;ve been grateful.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brooke Hernandez<\/strong> is a domain broker with Domain Name Sales; she&#8217;s been with the Cayman company for a while, and she was <a href=\"http:\/\/domaingang.com\/domain-news\/female-friday-interview-brooke-hernandez-thrill-domain-kill\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>interviewed a year ago<\/strong><\/a> on DomainGang.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s worked on several leads for me and in every single case she diligently and professionally engaged with the potential buyer.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I dislike when an inquiry returns no response from the potential buyer; I&#8217;d rather hear a flat &#8220;Not interested&#8221; instead.<\/p>\n<p>A negative response still has the chance of being turned into a &#8220;maybe&#8221; and further into a &#8220;yes&#8221;, but when there is no answer the game usually ends there.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke&#8217;s most recent handling of a lead garnered the response I wanted, thanks to her ability to communicate the message directly to the buyer.
