A blank sheet of paper, or an empty screen can be very intimidating to an artist or any creative person.<\/p>\n

Its emptiness is something unsettling and lacking direction.<\/p>\n

This initial fear of the empty canvas can become chronic, leading to the much dreaded writer’s block.<\/p>\n

To overcome this temporary impasse, a creative person needs to define a rough framework that is often non-specific and generic in its structure and qualities.<\/p>\n

Once there, they can change the outlines, create the inner folds, and generate the content that they could not imagine or distinguish at the beginning.<\/p>\n
