{"id":6030,"date":"2020-07-06T13:11:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-06T17:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/?p=6030"},"modified":"2020-07-06T13:16:45","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T17:16:45","slug":"recycling-mike-manns-domains-thanks-konstantinos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acro.net\/blog\/recycling-mike-manns-domains-thanks-konstantinos\/","title":{"rendered":"Recycling Mike Mann&#8217;s domains: Thanks Konstantinos!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Querying <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinedomain.com\/2020\/06\/19\/domain-name-news\/complete-list-of-the-50000-domains-mike-mann-dropped\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mike Mann&#8217;s domain droplist<\/strong><\/a> was a herculean task, but <strong>Konstantinos<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinedomain.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Online Domain<\/strong><\/a> delivered!<\/p>\n<p>Fifty thousand domains, or about 16% of Mike Mann&#8217;s portfolio dropped recently, and Konstantinos shared <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinedomain.com\/2020\/06\/24\/domain-name-news\/mike-mann-2-lists-of-28923-available-domains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>those that became available<\/strong><\/a>, along with a separate list of upcoming deletes at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Perusing thousands of domains &#8220;by hand&#8221; reminded me of the good old days of <a href=\"https:\/\/domaingang.com\/domain-news\/domainsbot-register-630am\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Domainsbot<\/strong><\/a>, almost 20 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Konstantinos did all the heavy lifting, and all I had to do was sort the domains by length and start checking the most interesting ones. I ended up registering 20 domains, almost all of them two word .com&#8217;s and one &#8220;brandable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ten days later, all of them have an amount of traffic that varies from low teens to several dozen uniques per day. I went after domains that existed in other TLDs or ccTLDs.
