With almost 400,000 registered domains since the official launch, the .CO is rolling forward as a ccTLD on steroids.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although I do not recommend that anyone should heavily invest in any new TLD – unless you have money to burn<\/em> – the .CO introduced a registration frenzy unlike any other in recent memory. The interest is real and the momentum in registrations has not slowed down yet.<\/p>\n

As I already explained, my primary investment in .CO<\/strong><\/a> has been that of geoDomains. It is important to keep in mind that development is my primary goal with .CO and not monetization by utilizing traffic that trickles over from the respective .com<\/p>\n

I want to keep this nice and short, so here’s an important tip if you are a small to medium size investor in the .CO namespace.<\/p>\n

If you have received any decent or promising offer in the near past about a .com (or even a .net and .org) then check the .co for availability and GRAB it. Chances are, that the person or company that made that offer in the past – perhaps utilizing the anonymity of Sedo <\/em>– will register the .co as a cheap and very competitive alternative<\/strong> to the one that you simply keep parked.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Don’t lose out <\/strong>– by investing $25 you will be able to perhaps negotiate a package deal in the future for the domain that you weren’t able to sell originally!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
