Monday is the best day of the week to start afresh. After a relaxing weekend, one gets to see things with a renewed perspective.
Often times, from mid-week til that proverbial 5:00pm on a Friday, one’s mind gets cluttered with if’s and but’s.
Domain investors are currently lost in a sea of misinformation. They are being told that they should, or should not do this or the other thing. Fear, frustration and anger is being shared openly, and no-one has any real answers to their worries and concerns.
To summarize, what worked until now in terms of income generation, is about to change. The change won’t be like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs; it will be a paced but certain evolutionary shift to new paradigms.
In the 1990’s, resistance towards new top level domains peaked; the 2000’s produced the technology, process and arguments for a change.
Finally, thirteen years into the second millennium, ICANN developed a procedure, far from perfect, but it’s the White Book that determines what goes on from now on.
Yesterday, I visited an arts and crafts show here in Altamonte Springs, FL. The weather was great, the venue was packed with art and the crowds seemed to enjoy a well-organized event.
There was a variety of food as well, and the following spot caught my attention.
I had to take a picture of this “food graffiti” as it immediately stood out as the new reality in the domain name space.
