Domain names, the future, and an epiphany

On occasion, I recommend industry blogs worth reading.

These typically provide insight, opinions and encouragement to their readership, dressed with a personal style.

Today I came across Danny Pryor‘s blog, “Box 30136“, and the latest post talks about domain names, the future and its writer’s epiphany, or “aha moment.”

Danny is  the creative person behind most things TRAFFIC, audio/video and graphics, and he was present during the famous Schilling-Schwartz debate on the new gTLDs. I had the pleasure of meeting him, albeit quite briefly, during TRAFFIC 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale.

His article demonstrates the agony that many domain investors experience today, and the eventual revelation about the future. We are at precisely the moment demonstrated, 50 years ago, by Arthur C. Clarke, when he talked about the future in 1964.

I definitely recommend reading Danny’s blog for the candid, refreshingly positive and open-minded approach that it takes; to venture forward, humanity needs more open minds and fewer closed eyes and ears.

Way to go Danny!……Thank you Acro!….I have experienced this type of epiphany as well. It is real, true, fast and powerful…..I am personally glad it came sooner then later due to the special opportunity we are presented with at this moment in time…….
