Somehow, I don’t think you belong to the category of “professional, established, intelligent domainers” that you speak of. Using a fake email with a locale of West Palm Beach only tells me you are from the general area that really fears change. But you cannot stop change, progress and evolution.
For the record, NamesCon is not a gTLD conference but it will be remembered as the one that truly embraced every single aspect of domain investing, without an agenda or bias.
