The Ayrton Senna Foundation was formed in honor of the late Brazilian Formula 1 racer, Ayrton Senna, by his sister.
It has helped millions of disadvantaged children in Brazil, since 1995.
A great, moving film, depicting the life and passion of Ayrton Senna, is called “Senna” – filmed in 2010.
Although I was a fan of Formula 1 racing back in the 70’s and 80’s, by the time Senna entered the game I was too old to follow the sport.
After watching this incredible documentary film, I have been re-energized by its messages and lessons, and I intend to follow Formula 1 racing once again.
Since Ayrton Senna’s untimely demise in 1994, there have been no deaths in the sport, thanks to the changes in security that Senna’s own efforts inspired.
I highly recommend watching the Senna film, to everyone; regardless of your interest in Formula 1 racing or not. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
