Don’t worry, I deliver domain investing tips all the time; you haven’t missed the previous 452 tips.
If you have been reading my blog since its inception in early 2008, you will be able to utilize a lot of advice, conventional wisdom, and even ‘private’ anecdotes from my early years as a domainer, almost 15 years ago.
Onto today’s tip.
When a seller is offering domains for sale with a price, one can always make a private offer, to lower the asking price. This was tip #452.
What happens when there are several domains you are interested in, but not willing to pay the total asking price?
By agreeing to buy the first one at their asking price, you’ve broken the ice, you’re doing business, you’re on a good course.
The combo deal, is when you offer to buy more domains from their list, at a combined price lower than buying them individually.
This does not mean that you will succeed to buy them cheap; you are only getting them cheaper.
As always, it never hurts to ask; if you don’t ask, you will never receive. And that was tip #451.
This post seems like it was inspired by “American Pickers” show, domainpickers.com taken, lol.
You should bundle where you can, great tip.
Richard – I watch Pawn Stars on occasion, I’ll check that one out. 😀
