DomainerCoin: A new form of currency?

Those of you that saw me wearing the DomainerCoin t-shirt during NamesCon have been briefed in already.

Facing a catchy brand name and logo, people asked me questions – and somehow I managed to maintain my alcohol intake at safe levels, despite the generous offers of some to buy me drinks in exchange for the ‘secret‘.

I must admit that generally speaking, I don’t like to tease people. But since this is a project that will hopefully be used by an audience larger than domainers, I decided to start off this journey by giving out clues.

So, no – it’s not a cryptocurrency, and it’s not real money either. I am not trying to dethrone bitcoin, or its unstable economy.

It won’t be a blog, or a magazine of sorts. There are no plans for an app.
