Once in a blue moon, I receive emails or domain offers that justify their existence as such:
“I’m the man. I’m numero uno. I’m successful. I’m the best of the best, pheer me.”
Ok, bro, I get it.
In a nutshell, you’re just another condescending prick.
No one truly successful will attempt to flaunt their parts like a whore at an Amsterdam red light district window.
I’m all for constructive, productive analysis of what led a person to being successful, I will listen to their stories and will appreciate the lessons that they share.
But as part of an inquiry that went south because I did not accept their lousy offer, “Successfully” is a signature attempting to include everything while achieving nothing for me.
Out of curiosity, I managed to locate the bio of the person who urged me to sell a domain at their price. “Be reasonable”, he exclaimed, waving a number to my face.
I understand that for a person that overcame a ghetto life and became a chef and a “self-taught marketing guru” – not my words – success is measured in dollars and bling.
The best part of such incidents is that they become fodder for blog posts such as this one, describing how rotten “successful” individuals can be.
It’s not how others treat you, it’s how you treat others – that’s how a man is measured.
Don’t flaunt it, bro.
Great post! I couldn’t agree more!
Agreed.
Out him!!! Do it, no really, do it…
Andrew – He’s not a domainer and it’s pointless to reveal his name, unless he keeps pestering me.
I’m a chef, and a self-taught marketing guru, ph33r..no really. lol
oh and here i thought you were talking about Rosener. hahaha jk Andrew
