When it comes down to closing a business deal, I’m all for a fair exchange. I believe in honesty, integrity and the ability to forge relationships that are based on mutuality.
On occasion, this is harder to achieve and knowing my modus operandi and philosophy about life, it’s almost entirely due to the inflexibility of the other party.
What I do in the domain industry crosses several others; from creative, marketing, branding, development and design, to consulting for new media needs. I strive to be an out of the box thinker and creative person.
When engaging in a business transaction, it all comes down to the personal convictions and ethics as established through a person’s lifetime. It does not happen overnight. Changes and adjustments might occur, but a person’s core remains intact and determines one’s interaction at a personal and professional level.
Being a member of the domain community – our small, yet expanding industry – is a privilege that evolves and expands on a daily basis, none of which should be taken for granted, and for which I am grateful.
As with every industry, making a difference for the domainer community and beyond that, should be part of our daily driving force.
So what are you in this industry for?
