Pizza, pizza!

What a better way to start the week, than with a slice or two of delicious pizza – preferably, by placing an order through your favorite web site.

If you’re in Romania, there is no Papa Johns and the like, so you use the local brands; they are probably better tasting and cheaper.

One of them appears to be extremely popular, according to the number of Facebook fans they command.

So I just received my first pizza order from Romania, as I own the matching .com of the pizzeria’s .ro.

The fun part: there are no pizza photos on the .com that I’ve parked on Domain Name Sales, and yet someone took the time to submit their order.

I wonder how much delivery plus tip would cost for a meatlover’s, hold the sausage, double cheese to Romania.

  1. I have similar experience too. I’ve received price quotes, weekly sale reports, and even resume of job seeker sent to my matching .com. It’s a fact that there are people in the world who just assume .com as the default extension.

  2. Kassey – In my case, I feel bad for the person who apparently stayed hungry without a pizza to eat for dinner! 😀

  3. Acro, in my case, I felt bad for the job seeker so I returned the message to the head hunting company. I have disabled the email catch-all function so I don’t get any unintended emails now.
