When a domain sale is achieved, everyone is happy: the seller, the buyer and in the case of an existing broker, them as well.
But what about when an inquiry doesn’t lead to a sale, despite all the broker’s efforts?
Sometimes, the DNS brokers go well beyond the “call of duty” to achieve a sale, and for that I’ve been grateful.
Brooke Hernandez is a domain broker with Domain Name Sales; she’s been with the Cayman company for a while, and she was interviewed a year ago on DomainGang.
She’s worked on several leads for me and in every single case she diligently and professionally engaged with the potential buyer.
Personally, I dislike when an inquiry returns no response from the potential buyer; I’d rather hear a flat “Not interested” instead.
A negative response still has the chance of being turned into a “maybe” and further into a “yes”, but when there is no answer the game usually ends there.
Brooke’s most recent handling of a lead garnered the response I wanted, thanks to her ability to communicate the message directly to the buyer. I can now move on with that inquiry, thanks to her skills.
Thank you, Brooke, you are a great asset at Domain Name Sales and I appreciate all your hard work; I’m sure Jeff and Frank do too.
I agree Brooke has been great to work with. The entire DNS platform is first class.
Brooke is an excellent broker! Going to close Escrow today all thanks to her 🙂 Thank you.
Brooke and Craig are both solid.
