Domain Name Sales and GoDaddy Escrow update

Two weeks ago, I reported yet another positive experience with a domain sale that facilitated via the Domain Name Sales brokerage, and by utilizing GoDaddy as the escrow.

The transaction was an assigned brokered sale that did not originate at GoDaddy.

Because the amount involved exceeded $5,000 USD paid via a credit card, Escrow.com was not an option.

Once the transaction completed, I was assured that the funds would be sent no later than during the first couple of days in March, and like clockwork this happened today, last day in February.

I’m pleasantly surprised by the availability of this escrow option via GoDaddy, as the credit card limit there is $10,000 dollars – along with the smooth handling of the transaction by Domain Name Sales.

By having several options to complete a domain sale, such as Escrow.com, Agreed.com, and EscrowHill.com one’s ability to focus on negotiations and leave the rest in the expert hands of the Domain Name Sales brokerage team, is greatly enhanced.

  1. Are you saying that now DomainNameSales.com is offering members to select the escrow service they want and not only escrow.com? Because in this case I am going to ask Frank to add ecop.com to the list above.

  2. Bonjour, Francois – As far as I know, DNS has a special relationship with GoDaddy; they offered that option when the problem arose. You can obviously contact them for any potential business purpose.

  3. Was not talking about GoDaddy but about:
